2.It is normal that silicone products may have some odor since vulcanizer (a kind of catalyst which plays an important role in the molding process) is added to the raw material to make the finished products more flexible. Generally, most of the vulcanizer will volatile after the shaping, and the residue will be gone within few days. (The vulcanizer will do no harm to people’s health)
A small tip to remove the odor: keep the product in the saltwater for about half an hour, wash and dry it, the odor will disappear then.

The parcel went to me 2 months (ukrpost). In a normal cardboard box, the inside was not damaged. Very, very much liked the set! Heavy enough, the plastic parts sit on the handles tightly, inside the silicone there is some solid base, that is, they will not bend. The handles themselves are smooth, do not cling. Color-pale pistachio, as in the photo. We have such a set of times 2 more expensive, and the quality is worse (the handles are shorter and the silicone is soft). So very happy!
